CT201 Color Therapy mentoring class 1 day
CT201 Color Therapy mentoring class 1 day
This new mentoring class is ideal if you have a good understanding of the software but still have lots of un-answered questions about the industry in general. This is not a technical class, more of an information session on how and why I do things.
It features my ideas on how to best tackle a session at the same time as managing your client’s expectations. My aim is to make it as close as possible to simulating a junior working with a senior colorist in a full time position.
What will you learn?
What inspires me? How do I get motivated?
How much does my kit and my room environment influence my quality as a colorist?- How to approach a big or small project?- How to deal with the Director, Producer, DP's and Agency? - How can you plan your career as a colorist? (5 years ahead)
Should you work for free? If not, what discount should you give?
Can you work for big post houses and have your own studio?- How can I create contacts in this industry?
What should you be charging and how long should you take on a session?- Basic knowledge of finance for independent color studios.
Features or Commercials, Docos or Music Videos. Can I cover them all or is it better to focus on a niche?- Reels. Do I really need one in 2022?
Social Media, when and how many times should I post?- How to open international markets? Can I move to a new country?
