“
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: THE PERFECT INTRODUCTORY COURSE ON COLOR GRADING AND STRATEGY
I researched several color grading courses around Asia for our in-house editor before we came across Warren’s 5-day color strategist course. Our editor came back inspired, knowledgeable and with a truly comprehensive skillset of color grading skills. The course was perfectly paced, with clear, practical details at every step. It included an understanding of how color grading could work in the real world situation including workflows, organizing files etc - and a hands-on demonstration of the hardware that goes with it all too. Warren gets modern day pressures, multi-tasking and deadlines. Warren was patient and helpful throughout - and answered each question so thoroughly that it felt like a tailor-made course. Learn color grading under Warren’s wise guidance if you get the chance - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. ”

Frequently asked questions
When are your group classes?
My hope is to run a class every week. So they will rotate through RG101, RG201, RG301 etc and will also rotate between timezones.
What equipment will I need?
A laptop or desktop system capable of running the latest Davinci Resolve software. Resolve is a good bench mark for the type of machine needed. 2 monitors is preferred but not essential. This means you can have your software on 1 monitor and the instructor on the other. A headphone set and microphone is essential.
How will I get the training footage and supporting documents?
A week before your class you will receive a Frame io download link. This will enable you to be confident and comfortable of your set up before the class begins.
What if the class is not be in my timezone? True, a fixed timezone will not suit everybody, so we plan to run in different timezones with a moderator/translator used where needed.
Can I customise a group class? Please e-mail any requests with ‘How to do’ questions and I’ll do my best to fit them into the class. Questions are encouraged through out the workshop and are an important part of group learning.
How can I see a schedule?
All classes whether remote of classroom with appear here and on the ICA home page.
What is the cost?
Prices are not fixed as each student will have different needs. The Virtual group classes (like the CT202) will start at $195US a day depending on the type and length of the class offered.
Can I keep the training footage after the class?
Yes. Media and any handouts can be used to progress your learning.
Will I get a recording of the class?
Yes. All classes will be recorded by ZOOM and distributed as soon as we can.
Are the ICA virtual classes certified like the classroom?
Yes, you will receive a digital ICA certificate.
Do you have any post class Q&A?

This International Colorist Academy workshop is designed as an introduction course to coloring with DaVinci Resolve 20 in a small class setting of up to 8 course participants using ZOOM.
This is a BYO machine ZOOM workshop, that can be a workstation or laptop.
Date TBD in 2026. If interested please contact Warren
The ZOOM link and footage link will be provided 2 days before the workshop starts.
This is ideal for first time Resolve users and you do not need any experience to attend. It’s true you can search through free YouTube clips and probably get started, but it is very important when learning any software, to learn the correct way from the beginning. It will lay a great foundation going forward.
You’ll need to have your own workstation or laptop. Great if you need a v20 refresher.
You will get the class media, the screen recordings, the knowledge and an iColorist certificate.
So if you want to learn from a professional colorist with 35 years of color experience and 20 years on Resolve, then take advantage of this heavily discounted ZOOM workshop.
