Film is ALIVE!

Last night I attended the Analog GRit Exhibition at the fantastic GR Space in Brisbane, celebrating 30 years of the Ricoh GR camera. Pro, amateurs, camera clubs and general photographer enthusiasts all gathered to look at the gear and to hear from the photographers displaying their art.

I chatted to @Josie.on.folm who shot her self portraits with a Ricoh GR10 loading with Ultra Max film. The look is all camera, process and printing, no digital manipulation. It is great to see photographers embracing the ‘in camera’ disciplines from previous generations where if you got it wrong in camera there wasn’t much wriggle room to correct. Thanks to Clinton Harn @clintoharn for inviting me. Having just collaborated on a remote grade for him, it was great to catch up in person again.
